057 - Fans of each team will be able to apply for tickets from 14 December 2015 at 12:00 CET
UEFA today announced the opening of ticket sales for the fans of the 24 teams which have qualified for UEFA EURO 2016, exclusively via EURO2016.com.
A total of 800,000 tickets will be available when the ticket portals open on 14 December 2015 at 12:00CET noon, with fans able to submit ticket applications until 12:00 CET noon on 18 January 2016.
Each Participating National Association (“PNA”) has defined the application conditions for their fans, as well as the maximum number of tickets per match that they can apply for via dedicated portals.
Once the portals are open, fans will be able to create an account on EURO2016.com, and choose the ticket type and category from those available. Tickets will not be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so the time of application has no impact on the chances of getting tickets.
For all matches where demand exceeds supply, tickets will be allocated in accordance with the respective process set by each PNA. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications by the end of February 2016 at the latest.
Football fans whose teams did not qualify for UEFA EURO 2016, or who do not meet the conditions set by the PNA, will still be able to apply for tickets through a public portal, which will be open during the same period as the PNA portals.
A wide range of ticket products are available to suit everyone’s needs (subject to each PNA’s rules):
• Single tickets for one match in one stadium
• Follow My Team tickets, which allow fans to choose several team matches, including conditional tickets if their team qualifies beyond the group stage
• Accessibility tickets for those requiring easy access seats, and for wheelchair users
Single ticket types will be available in four different price categories that reflect different areas of the stadiums. Follow My Team packages will be available in price categories 1 and 3. Accessibility tickets are always sold at the same price as the lowest-priced tickets, regardless of the seat position.
The ticket portals cater to individuals only. For information about Corporate VIP Hospitality, which delivers premium seating with fine dining in the stadium, please visit the UEFA EURO 2016 Hospitality website.
The upcoming ticketing phase follows the hugely successful general public ticket sales last summer, when 11,264,142 ticket requests were made between 10 June and 10 July 2015 for the 1 million tickets available to the general public.
